The magpies of the Peculiarity Shop understand that some of the "glory" of jewelry is the wow factor of opening the package. We do not want anyone to feel guilty if they prefer the pretty packaging, so please consider this an option not a suggestion or a moral judgment, 
 
That said, a jewelry shop, because of its ten trillion parts, creates A LOT of packaging material. Bubble wrap. Plastic bags--tiny ones, the beads themselves come in. Paper filler for the boxes. The boxes themselves. We usually send these things to our local recycling facility, but it also occurred to us that we could offer this as a packaging option. Clean, gently used packaging that might lack some of the "OOH" factor of the formal stuff, but definitely helps in the reuse efforts.
